Mesut Ozil Posts Heartfelt Message To Arsenal Fans On Facebook

By on September 12, 2014

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has posted a heartfelt message to fans on his official Facebook page this evening.

The German superstar has one of the biggest followings in football with almost 26 million likes and he’s never shy of communicating with his fans.

His latest offering is a lengthy post explaining how he’s hoping to continue his unbeaten home record against Man City this weekend and how the squad will take heart form the Community Shield win.

The 25-year-old also welcomes Danny Welbeck to the squad and hopes Theo will be back with the team soon, while he goes on to explain that in order for us to maintain a winning streak we have to get the ‘running and passing lines of the new players as perfectly coherent as possible’.

Ozil takes some stick at times and some people accuse him of not caring due to his laid-back manner on the pitch, but I bet he’s actually one of the nicest players in the squad. What other footballers posts this kind of message to the fans? What a bloke…..

Well, after his shambolic performance today maybe he should have saved his long message for later. So lazy and lacking in confidence and determination, poor decision making and judgement, poor defense. I lost count of many times he carelessly lost the ball and never tried to get it back. Being played out of position is no excuse for being that low class performance.
