Arsenal Star Set For Injury Comeback Against Tottenham

Theo Walcott is in-line to make his long-awaited injury comeback against Tottenham later this month, according to the Daily Mail.

Walcott has been on the sidelines for just over nine months after rupturing his cruciate ligament during the closing stages of our FA Cup win over Spurs on January 4th.

However, the 25-year-old returned to light training in July and has been increasing his work-load over the past few weeks, and Arsene Wenger confirmed Theo would return to full training after the international break.

It’s going to take a few weeks for him to get back up to match sharpness and I’ve read he may even play a couple of times for the Under-21’s before being in contention for the first team.

But the Mail claim that Theo will make his return at the end of September and is hoping his comeback game will be against Tottenham at the Emirates on the 27th of this month.

That would obviously add a little bit of extra excitement to the game but I wouldn’t be surprised if Theo played some small part in the Capital One Cup clash against Southampton four days earlier.

Either way, it’s going to be a huge boost to have him back as he’s been sorely missed. The pace we’ll have in attack with him, Alexis, The Ox and now Welbeck is going to make us a frightening proposition to play against. I can’t wait!

    Welbeck is a good signing 4 arsenal and we win the premier league dis season.
