RATINGS: My Ratings From Arsenal’s 2-0 Win Over Norwich

By on May 11, 2014

We finished off the Premier League season with a comfortable 2-0 win over Norwich this afternoon.  Here are my ratings:

Fabianski 7/10 | Had very little to do for the first 60 minutes but made a couple of decent stops as Norwich pushed for a goal late on.

Jenkinson 7.5/10 | Solid game at right-back and was great to see him score his first goal for the club.

Sagna 7.5/10 | Slotted in seamlessly at centre-back and was immense. Gutted to see him leave this summer.

Koscielny 7/10 | Superb interception at the front post to deny Hooper a tap in and was solid throughout.

Gibbs 7/10 | Keen to get forward. Great to have him back.

Arteta 7/10 | Steady in midfield and distributed well. Looks much more comfortable with Ramsey next to him.

Ramsey 8/10 | Not his best game overall, but his goal was simply stunning.

Rosicky 6.5/0 | Fairly quiet afternoon from the Czech midfielder.

Ozil 6.5/10 | Showed flashes of brilliance but wasn’t really in the game enough. Saving himself for the big one next week no doubt.

Podolski 7.5/10 | Very good game overall. Went close to scoring on several occasions and even chipped in defensively. Set up Jenks goal.

Giroud 8/10 | Excellent display from the big man. Exchanged well with Podolski on a number of occasions and forced Ruddy into two excellent saves. Should have scored towards the end of the first half but denied by the Norwich stopper.

Subs:

Wilshere 6.5/10 | Good to see him getting some minutes under his belt.

Diaby 6.5/10 | HE’S BACK!

Sanogo 6.5/10 | The search for his first goal continues after he was denied late on.

The league is now done and dusted and our thoughts can now turn to next weeks huge FA Cup final with Hull. A top four finish and the cup would be a very good season.

Are we going to have an open top victory display to show off our fourth place trophy ?

A season that promised so much yet delivered so staggeringly little…

That’s the attitude Kingsley….Me and EIE could learn a lesson from you about being a true Gooner and Arsenal supporter! the season may have promised much but our injuries derailed our drive and all things taken into consideration, which those whiners don’t…we did well once again!

Couldn’t Wenger have strengthened the squad, wen fatigue, injuries, and lost of form started ? There’s no excuse ma’m….Wenger doesn’t just lean from his past mistakes!!!
