VIDEO GOALS: Arsenal 2-2 Swansea: Flamini OG Ends Title Hopes

By on March 25, 2014

Arsenal’s title hopes are all but over for another season after a manic 2-2 draw with Swansea City at the Emirates on Tuesday night.

We were well below par and were deservedly one-down after Bony beat Vermaelen in the air to head home in the first half. We barely mustered an attempt on goal before Podolski was introduced.

The German was on hand to fire home the equaliser after good work from Gibbs before setting up Giroud for a second just a minute later with a sensational cross.

However, in typical Arsenal fashion, we blew it after conceding a ridiculous equaliser in the 89th minute. It was right out of a comedy sketch with Mertesacker’s out-stretched leg playing the ball onto Szczesny, before the ball rebounded back off Flamini and into the empty net.

The result is going to be a killer-blow ahead of crucial games with Man City and Everton and it looks like our title challenge is over for another season. Watch the goals:

Arsenal were nervous as expected. However deserved to win. You cannot legistate for a very flukey own goal. Also the media never mention the fact that that Kos, Ramsey, Ozil, Wilshere, and Walcott are injured. These players would get into 95 per cent of most premier league teams. Also Sky sports are really blowing up the situation.

Hey with all due respect man. No arsenal showed any commitment or heart today. Disgusting I wud blast the players for such a performance. No urgency. No long balls. No running. No pace. No heart. No desire. Absolute rubbish. Horrible performance. I am a die hard arsenal supporter. I live and breath arsenal. Been supporting the club since I was four years old. I want to see desire in the players. I was in tears. Arsene wenger as much as I respect u. Its time for u to go. I wud prefer u to be in the board. But that’s all.
