VIDEO: Joel Campbell Scores Stunning Chip For Costa Rica

By on March 6, 2014

Arsenal’s on-loan striker Joel Campbell was in red-hot form again last night as he scored a sensational chip during Costa Rica’s 2-1 win over Paraguay.

The youngster picked the ball up on the edge of the area before lobbing the keeper to open the scoring for the hosts.

The goal comes shortly after Campbell also scored a fine left-footed strike for Olympiakos against Manchester United in the Champions League.

I’m sure Campbell’s impressive form is giving Arsene Wenger some food for thought as he prepares to welcome the striker back to north London this summer.

Is he ready to challenge for a starting spot at Arsenal? With goals like this he’s certainly staking a claim….

Mind you this is a nation team, the games are very competetive, he is showing that, he can be one of the strikers at Arsenal, according to Arsene Wenger, he said, he was bought to be an Arsenal player, to play football at Arsenal. I am quite happy he is doing very well, I think in few years to come, Arsenal will be a team to watch.
