Arsenal Set To Announce Triple Deal

By on February 28, 2014

Arsenal are set to announce they have agreed new deals for Santi Cazorla, Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky, according to reports today.

Reports last week claimed Mertesacker has already agreed a new extension that will tie him down to the club until 2017, while Arsene Wenger revealed after the 4-1 win over Sunderland that Rosicky has agreed a new contract, which is believed to be a one-year rolling deal.

It seems Cazorla is the latest player who will be handed a new deal with the Daily Mail claiming the Spaniard is on the verge of finalising the terms on an improved £80,000-a-week contract that will see him commit to the club until 2017.

Cazorla’s current deal expires in 2016, so it will only be a one-year extension, but with the attacker now 29-years-old, the new contract will take him up to the age of 32.

The newspaper suggests that Arsenal are now all-set to announce the new deals for Cazorla, Mertesacker and Rosicky, but doubts continue to hang over the future of Bacary Sagna.

The Frenchman is out-of-contract at the end of the season and there’s been no breakthrough in negotiations over a fresh deal. If we can’t come to an agreement over the coming weeks, it looks like he’ll be off with PSG, Monaco, Inter Milan, Galatasaray as well as several Premier League club all understood to be interested.

It’s obviously great news to hear the club are ready to secure the futures of Cazorla, Mertesacker and Rosicky, but I’ll be gutted if we lose Sagna this summer. He’s been excellent all season so I hope we can find a breakthrough soon.

Great news I actually want to see us tie down all our experienced players bar fabianski djourou diaby bendtner and park whilst allowing kallstrom and Viviano to return to their club’s.

If we can keep the rest all we would then need is to replace fabianski, djourou, diaby and bendtner. As I would bring back martinez aneke and Campbell to replace the other 3.

I am really made up about this and also about ‘SAGNA’ come on guys jesus had a better cross than him i played right back for years and nearly all my crosses were head height he can not cross for s&*t. Let him go there are plenty of other options out there time for a change anyways. I wish he would bomb Giroud out as well because he is papa i don’t care if he works hard that is the midfielders job stay in the box and be a striker.

Wenger should get a quality striker to compliment the effort of Ozil.

@BC, why would you want to sell Fabianski? He is a good goalie. I rate him. He’s been unfortunate with injury, but he plays he plays very well

Let’s say the truth, RVP left bcos he feels arsenal can’t do well. Song left bcos he feels Barca are the ultimate,so now they are all having problem in there respective clubs they are thinking of arsenal.pls guys, lets prove to them we can do without them and get more quality players out there, this once are leftovers.
