TWEETS: BFG, Wilshere, Poldi + Giroud Apologise On Twitter For Liverpool Loss

By on February 9, 2014

Saturday was certainly a bad day at the office as we were thrashed 5-1 by Liverpool at Anfield.

We were second best all over the pitch during the opening half hour and the hosts could easily have been more than 4-goals ahead at the break.

Certain players were picked out for special criticism by the fans on social media, particularly Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, but the fact is ALL the players didn’t turn up.

At least four of the squad had the balls to go on Twitter after the game and apologise to the fans for their performance, with Mertesacker, Giroud, Wilshere and Podolski all promising to bounce back against Manchester United on Wednesday:

Wasn’t a bad Arsenal team? Haha. Liverpool are to be congratulated for playing at such a high tempo from kickoff, but all 5 goals stemmed from dismal defending and could have easily been avoided. I’ve been watching Arsenal since 1988, and can honestly say I cannot recall a worse performance over 90 minutes.

This fan is not seeking an apology, but wanting to see Arsenal players using their heads on the pitch and not simply run around like headless chickens.

Forget the bragging and maintain your focus until the end of the season. Who knows what you might achieve???

Well guys, looks liked you just let Michael Owen have his rare climax. But I appreciate your apology. It shown your self introspection to repair the damage.
Only one point separate from the top but it feel like a drastic massive turn down already. I hope our men dismiss this humiliation and fight back with all their lives to answer this big tittle credential question. I believe this is the most biggest question to us so far this season. Win over ManUre will separate this “new Arsenal” than the old one. Kick that devil’s ass for your lives gunners!
