Reports: Arsenal Duo In Punch-Up | Giroud’s Hotel Romp With Model

By on February 9, 2014

Arsenal players are hardly covering themselves in glory this weekend, are they? Not only did the whole squad put in a dismal display at Anfield on Saturday, but the newspapers have been sticking the knife in with some accusations aimed at Yaya Sanogo, Per Mertesacker and Olivier Giroud.

Lets start with the Telegraph’s report and the broadsheet is claiming that Sanogo and Mertesacker were involved in a training ground bust-up that left the German defender with a black eye.

The report suggests that the punch-up may have happened prior to the Liverpool clash but it seems that it did in fact occur before the Crystal Palace game last week.

Arsenal have insisted it was nothing more than a minor dispute that happens on training grounds up and down the country every week, and Sanogo won’t be reprimanded by the club.

Obviously any incidents are going to be highlighted by the press but while we don’t know the exact details of what went down, I’ll be hugely disappointed with Sanogo if he did strike Mertesacker. He may not officially have the armband, but Per is our captain on the pitch and the 21-year-old forward – who’s only been at the club a matter on months – should show the experienced German more respect.

Next and the Irish Sun reported today that Giroud was apparently up until 3am the night before the Liverpool game shagging some model called Celia Kay.

The paper claims that Giroud sneaked the 34D model into the team hotel and was kept up all night ‘entertaining her’. This was obviously done strictly against Arsene Wenger’s wishes, as the boss had instructed the players to get an early night due to our 12.45 kick off, and it would certainly go some way to explaining Giroud’s poor display at Anfield.

However, I’ve read rumours online that Miss Kay was in fact in Las Vegas on the night in question, making it impossible she was in Liverpool with Giroud.

The French striker is married, so I’d imagine he may be speaking to his lawyers to see what legal action could be taken against the Irish Sun if these accusations prove to be false.

It’s been a tough few days for the club but we have the perfect opportunity to put it all behind us when Manchester United come to the Emirates on Wednesday night.

Sanogo should be punished for punching Per Mer. He Sanogo has not contributed anything to the team this season

i think wenger is always loosing thr plot during the transfer window. we cant cary on wth ths crazy devaluation of players. we hv plenty plus super stars bt we end up wth no one bcoz every1 is xpensiv fo wenger whilst the man cities and chelseas jus snatch the players they want. wenger must splash the pound and strengthen the weak team

Injured player. Am 100 percent AW cannot win any trophy with that mentality of being mean with pounds. Gambling with transfer policy. So sad here in Kenya

Wenger know to choose players for other teams to buy hazard, Mata, ozil b4 he joined madrid, Dzeko, Balotel, criciano ron ado many more players bt him to relialise that football has been changed , no investment no trophy what so ever believe me another year without trophy & our fans will continue to stabe others out of frustration

arsene wenger is a gambler, bcos i dont know why he did not buy a good striker before the transfer window close, bcos i can only see giroud performing upfront as a ball boy, not as a striker all.
