PHOTO: Arsenal Confirm Kallstrom Signing – See Him In His New Shirt

By on January 31, 2014

It’s finally happened Gooners. We have a new signing! Admittedly he’s not the man we all dreamed of, but it’s a signing none-the-less.

Yes, Arsenal have finally confirmed that Kim Kallstrom has joined the club on loan from Spartak Moscow until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old arrives at the Emirates with a huge amount of experience having represented Sweden 108 times and he’ll give us some much-needed depth in the centre of midfield with Aaron Ramsey injured for six week.

Arsene Wenger said of the player:

“Kim Kallstrom is a hugely-experienced player. He is a midfielder with proven quality at both club and international level. We welcome Kim to Arsenal.”

Kallstrom also told Arsenal.com that he’s pleased to join the club and help out during the second half of the season:

“Arsenal is an amazing club with a lot of great players and a coach who has done really well here for a long time. I am so pleased to come here to learn as much as possible. I’m here to do my best for Arsenal and to help out the team, so we can achieve good results for the last part of the season.”

He wasn’t signed in time to make the squad for Sunday’s clash with Crystal Palace but he will be in contention against Liverpool next week and is also eligible to play in the Champions League.

We’ve got around three hours left to try and bring in a striker, but it’s not looking likely right now. Here’s Kallstrom wearing his new Arsenal shirt.

This is a f ing joke of a signing. Well all I can say about this is I have never heard of this bloke, and he must be cheap. Why is it that Arsene can negotiate him self a contract and values himself worth 24 million pounds. And yet he won’t spend money on quality. So is he saying he is worth 24 million . I don’t think so , the results haven’t proved that so far. So at this stage I guess we can say that by not bringing in added new players to support this season moving with the ambition of silverware, the opportunity has passed. Another one bites the dust. Thanks for nothing Arsene, however you just got a fat pay deal. Unfortunately this 24 million pound clown can’t play and adds nothing to the teams hopes.

We want to win trophy this year and really we have the chance to do so but the boss is not going to give us anything this year again. I love arsenal 4 life blessing be with you arsenal go 4 it.

Lets not be too negative with our new signing…. wenger is a coach with a whole wealth of experience…. I knw if Draxliar is worth it, wenger will buy him. Remember We already have so many bench warmers at d Emirate….. Ramsey n wilshere will soon be fit, n d midfield will be so compacted dat we may have selection headache……… Lets just trust him on Kallstrom, I’m sure le prof knows what he’s doing…… He just need a cover for d remaining part of d season to buy class in d summer. Lets keep d faith fellows. Afterall, wen Chelsea won d Champions League only Drogba, Luiz, Mikel n Checz wia not flops, d rest wia practically flops. So we can will still win d league with d calibre of players in our ranks. Don’t worry, Kallstrom is on Loan…… Gunners Forever!!!

Absolutely dissappointed after the professiuer failed to snatch a stricker, with the unkind fixture gunners have i think we will have some problems. We all know that when a player has been on sidelined due to injury it always to him time to get back. The likes of Sanogo..
