TEAMS: Arsenal v Manchester City: Wenger Names Strong XI
We play our final pre-season friendly today against Manchester City in Helsinki.
This is our last chance to test the players out in a ‘competitive’ situation ahead of next weekends big kick off against Aston Villa.
The boss has named a strong side, in fact it’s arguably our strongest eleven with the exception of Cazorla. Young trialist Seb Perez is on the bench so you’d think he’ll get game-time at some point.
Here are the teams:
Arsenal
Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski.
Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Hayden, Giroud, Cazorla and Zelalem, Perez
Man City:
Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Milner, Dzeko, Negredo

As an Arsenal fan I seriously hope we get owned by City. Any favourable result will relieve pressure on the deluded fool Wenger and make him think he can go on with a small, thin and simply not good enough team.
Spurs fans must be rolling around laughing at our lack of activities their managers good use of the transfer market, they are simply a stronger team now as are City and Chelsea.
Negredo starts for City, 20 million for a 27 goal striker and we have no one.
Master stroke Wenger, idiot.
