Arsenal Open Cesar Talks With Higuain To Be Completed ‘Within Days’

By on July 1, 2013

It wouldn’t feel right to go through a day without an update on the protracted move of Gonzalo Higuain to Arsenal, but we could soon be put out our misery with the Guardian reporting that the £22m deal will be completed ‘within the next few days’.

It’s been one of this summers big transfer stories with the Argentinean believed to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal while a £22m fee is understood to have been agreed with Real Madrid, yet the move is still not in the bag.

Well that could be about to change with the newspaper claiming that Carlo Ancelotti has finally given the go-ahead for the strikers sale and Higuain is now expected to complete his move to the Emirates in the next few days.

As ever, we should remain cautious until it’s up on Arsenal.com but it does look like this one could be coming to a close soon.

Another player who could be joining Higuain at Arsenal is Julio Cesar with the Guardian claiming we are now set to resume talks with the goalkeepers representatives following the completion of the Confederations Cup.

It was previously reported that we had held preliminary talks with Cesar’s camp but things were put on hold while he took part in the Confederations Cup, but with the 33-year-old keeping a clean sheet during an impressive 3-0 win over Spain in the final last night, he’s now free to resolve his future and a move to Arsenal is on the cards.

Cesar is available for around £1.5m following QPR’s relegation last season and he’s said to be keen to remain in London where he and his family are settled. He’d be an excellent signing and I feel his experience will push Szczesny on to another level, so lets hope we can get the deal done soon.

It could be an exciting few days Gooners, hold on to your hats…..

Even though I’ll be happy if arsenal complete the signing of those two (Cesar and Higuain), but I’ll be happier if we complete the signing of maroune felliani and Wayne rooney.

Untill l see Higuain in Arsenal shirt, then l would believe Wenger and his stingy board have changed their policy, by then l will send my letter of gratitude to the duo. Presently, l still believe all what l read is rumour. The earlier he speed up the signing the better.

I can’t wait to see the signing of both Cesar and Fellaini because they are EPL materials and experience. Please drop issue of signing Torres, his current form is nothing to about if you watch the final of Confederation cup, he is a flop. If you still want addition Higuain Rooney of Elshaaraway, any of this two can pairs with our star striker (Higuain) whom i believe every true Arsenal fans looks up to his arrival. ln Arsene Wenger we trust. An adage that says “he who laugh last laugh the best”.

Is Higuain ridein on a snail or is trekkin to london? I’m just askin coz everyday he’s close to arsenal signing. Guys don’t u tink dis Higuain story is a smoke screen? They said let d transfer market open now its open nuffin yet! May God help dis useless man called Wenger!

Hmmmmmmmmmm! My brother i wonder if he’s trekin on okro that whenever he move foreward, it would draw he backward. Everyday Higuian is close or he’s at the airport going for medicial yet the deal is not complete til today. Well! In my own view, i tuaght this guys are using this site to showcase thier talent that they can post an article on a site.
But my advice to you guys is that if you are an Arsenal fan just leave all this rumours go and relax, wait til the last day of the transfer market, any player you see wearing Arsenal shirt take him as Arsenal player so that you dont die of heartattack on everyday Arsenal in a shock move, is to open talk, have bit rejected, have agreed term with, etc.

If mr (bean) wenger is still in charge of arsenal in 10yrs to come, den the team will goes 15yrs to come without a cup. Everyday we our target players always close on, about 2 sign, coming 4 medical, about 2 complete etc. Mr bean and d boards are not ready 2 sign any player. Lets wait till window close and see so many excussed

If the season closed without any major star coming to Emirate, both Gazidi, Arsene and Kroenke should be chased out of the stadium.
