Arsenal 2 – 1 Aston Villa: Cazorla The Hero – MOTD Highlights
Arsenal had to work hard to overcome Aston Villa in a tense but vital game at the Emirates on Saturday. It looked like it was going to be a relatively easy afternoon when Cazorla scored a rare early goal for us but in typical Arsenal style we made hard work of it.
After playing in second gear and failing to kill the game off, predictably we were hit with a sucker-punch when Weimann burst clear to beat Szczesny with a powerful effort from 20-yards midway through the second half. The young Pole should have done better, no doubt about it.
However, Cazorla won it with a late second to put us within touching distance of third and fourth. Watch extensive MOTD highlights:
