There it is. The interlull curse strikes again. Did we really think we would come out of this break unscathed? Every thing was going too well. And now a player who is key to our entire club’s fortunes looks set to be out for a while and will definitely miss our upcoming match against Chelsea, and for what? A meaningless friendly? Disgusting.

When I saw this, I literally felt like vomiting. Mostly because it’s a friendly, not even a qualifier. He had no business being there. The inconsideration on the part of the national federations towards the clubs that pay for their players is disgraceful and something needs to change. If the federations had to pay for the players while they were gone AND had to pay compensation to the club for injuries sustained in non-competitive matches, things would change.

News just come in from Arsenal that Van Persie has torn his anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament, and his anterior talofibular ligament has unfortunately snapped- hes out for the rest of the season, but will hopefully be fit for the world cup.

What a waste, I feel ill. Best wishes for a full recovery to RVP. Now is the time for AW’s youth to realize their potential and step up. The comment posted by the speck of a human being devil fan is exactly why I choose to back the Gunners.

Something is wrong in football. As long as the defender gets the ball first, he can pretty much dismantle the opponent’s legs and will not be called, because HE GOT THE BALL FIRST. This is exactly how Walcott was injured.

While I watched this happen live, I almost couldn’t believe what was happening. I kept saying “he’s going to pop up any second.”

i can’s say how sad i m. All hopes are gone. Everything gone. Arsenal is nothing without him. I think we are out of verything.
very bad fate for Arsenal FC. If we do very well everytime we miss our key players.
We were very close of tile two years back and Edu gone, And our EPL also gone with him.
Now unexpected run in EPL and now everthing gone. God is not with us.

I knew this would happened, what are we going to do now? this is the manager who is saying he would not buy players anymore, so what is our faith now? this is the reason why Wenger should be more reasoning, yes we had alot of players, what about injuries has he prepared for this yet? i am not sure.
